Will be hosting a Good Bastards Ambrose Tournament.  This unusual game will however not require golf clubs or indeed golf balls.   So enter your Business Team today and phone Greg or Clive on 368 2827  for further details or to enter your team but be quick entries are due in by this Thursday 19 February 2004.  Cost to enter is $10.00 per player and each business is asked to put up a prize to be used in the Charity Auction following the game.  Thanks again for showing your support - you wont regret it!        All proceeds will be donated to the Horowhenua Cancer Society!!!!  Its golf like youve never played before………

Sunday 14 MARCH:  
MANAWATU CANOE POLO CLUB AMBROSE GOLF TOURNAMENT will be hosted at the Hokio Sands 9 Hole Golf Course.  Maximum of three players per team and tee offs are from 7.30 am thru to approx 12.00 pm.  Cost per player is $10.00 and will include your round of golf and a BBQ after your game as well as a prize for everyone.

The Tournament will be funding six Horowhenua and Manawatu Canoe Polo Club members that have just last weekend been selected to represent New Zealand at the World Championships held in Miyoshi, Japan 1st of July 2004.  Members selected have been Paul Hardy (Levin), Tim Tracey (Otaki) and four members from Palmerston North Timon Walkley, James Mitchell, Rebecca Cato and Alan Trellope.
